The bolt (1) has a flange (3) formed at an end (4) of a shaft (2), exhibiting planar, circular disk shape and including a cylindrical sealing portion (5) on an opposite side of the shaft, where diameter of the cylindrical sealing portion is smaller than diameter of the flange. The shaft includes a shaft portion (6) provided adjacent to the flange, where the shaft portion includes a metrical external thread (7). The flange forms a planar, annular contact surface (10) for a component, and is interrupted by recesses (11) continuously extended from the shaft to an outer edge (12) of the flange. An independent claim is also included for a connection assembly.
