The radiation detector (1) has radiation converter (2) for the spatially resolved conversion of incoming radiation into electrical signals. The absorber webs (5) extending in perpendicular to collimating direction of collimator (4) arranged in upstream of a radiation incidence direction is adhered to radiation converter using radiation absorbing adhesive (6). An independent claim is included for method for manufacture of radiation detector.
