The dishwasher (1) has a rinsing container (2) for accommodating rinsing goods and loaded with fluid i.e. rinsing liquid (S), over rotatable distribution arms (6, 7), where fluid jet is introduced into the container in a horizontal direction during operation of the distribution arms. The container has a base unit and a cover unit that is connected with the base unit, and the distribution arms comprise metallic wings (19, 20). Deflection plates (25-27) are arranged at the distribution arms for deflecting the fluid jet with components in a vertical direction (28).
