The method involves acquiring angiographic scene with certain acquisition parameters to generate angiography data or digital subtraction angiography (DSA) sequences. The mass distribution is determined at considered bifurcation (16-18) using three-dimensional (3D) data set and acquired DSA sequence. The relative mass distribution at bifurcation of vascular system (14) is calculated by determining ratio of outflow contrast agent compositions in vascular system. The output of relative mass distribution of flux for observation location (19) is obtained.
