The device has a battery component (AE) installed in a thermally insulating battery housing. An electrically powered device (G) and a rechargeable lithium ion battery (AKKU) are separately and thermally arranged for operating the device. Thermally insulating gas (ISO) is evacuated or filled in a space that is formed between the battery component and the battery housing. The battery is retained in a recess that comprises multiple bars for spacing attitude in such a manner that extensive thermal separation is carried-out by an air-layer (LS) in an intermediate space between the bars.
