The light assembly includes a LED board mounted with several LEDs, a light source, and a reflector having a light inlet opening and a light exit opening, for producing a defined light distribution curve for a lighting task. The photometric effective spacers (8) are arranged in the LED board. The LEDs are enclosed in the LED board, such that the lower end (14) of the spacer rests on the LED board and the upper end (16) of the spacer protrudes into the light inlet opening, to form a side-firing luminous flux which is diffused towards the reflector.
