The method involves closing an aperture (8) with prefabricated seal bodies that are designed as balls (2). The seal bodies stay in a position during processing of workpiece (1) with workpiece surfaces (9, 10). The seal bodies are loosened after processing of the workpiece. The seal bodies are loosened at temperature of approximately 45-55 degree Celsius. The loosening of the seal bodies is performed relative to workpiece cleaning process. The cleaning process is performed when the seal bodies close the aperture. The seal bodies are formed of gelatin. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a workpiece (2) an arrangement for protecting a workpiece.
