The system (1) has an intermediate circuit capacitor (9) through which the traction battery cell assembly (2) is connected with the inverter (7). A direct current (DC)-DC regulator (10) works as high or low setting actuator in the direction of inverter of the traction battery cell assembly. The usual capacity of input and output of the DC-DC converter for same operation in the respective operating mode is set by the capacity of traction battery cell assembly and the intermediate circuit capacitor.
