The apparatus (11) has a projecting arm (31) emitting a therapeutic radiation (41), and arranged at a rotation mechanism (21). An adjusting mechanism is designed as a linear adjusting mechanism causing linear displacement of the projecting arm, so that distance of the projecting arm from a rotational axis (23) is adjusted by the adjustable mechanism. The projecting arm is fastened at the adjustable mechanism over the rotation mechanism, so that the projecting arm is rotatably fixed around the rotational axis relative to the adjustable mechanism.
