A method for producing a desired course over time of the magnetization state in an examination subject (o) in the context of an experiment of the magnetic resonance, whereby during the experiment of the magnetization state several times through radio frequency pulses is changed and wherein at least one sequence parameters is determined in advance, which the development of the magnetization state between two applications of rf pulses is influenced, is characterized by the,– that at least one to be generated by a radio-frequency pulse site-dependent change in the magnetization state within the object to be examined (o) is determined from at least one of the determined sequence parameters, and at least at two locations different and at these locations being different from zero and– that spatially selective radio frequency pulses, i.e. radio frequency pulses, which is a simultaneous and independent change of the magnetization state at locations with different requirements make it possible for the conversion of the predetermined location dependent change of the magnetization state to be irradiated.The method according to the invention makes it possible for different regions of the object to be examined in spite of different a given experiment parameters of the same desired temporal progression of the magnetization state or also in a targeted manner to adjust different desired curves of the magnetization state to cause at different locations.
