The casting apparatus has a casting tool (10) provided with two mold halves for casting fiber-reinforced plastic component (1) and hollow volume (6) with light metal melt. A cavity is enclosed outwardly in closed state of casting mold by sealing agent (3). The casting tool is provided with mold cavity (10') for receiving portion of plastic component. A fluid channel (4) is extended into the cavity, such that fluid channel is connected with hollow volume of fiber-reinforced plastic component. A venting device (5) is connected with the fluid channel. An independent claim is included for method for recasting fiber reinforced plastic component.
