The door (1) has a front (2) consisting of a glass- or plastic pane that is transparent in a portion. The pane is nontransparent, painted and/or pasted with foil in another portion. Flat workpieces (3) made of timber, particle board, metal or plastic are arranged on a rear side of the front, where the rear side is turned away from a front side and arranged near the transparent portion and behind the nontransparent portion. Free space between the workpieces is closed by a rear wall (5). An interstice (4) is provided with a closure in which a filling (7) is introduced. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a furniture door.
