The process involves separating an upper leaf part from a stem, and striping leaves from the remaining stems. Fibers and shives are separated from the stem, and the leafy part of the stem, the fibers and shives are pressed out separately under pressure, so that resulting squeezed juices are mixed. The hemp plant is pressed out or the leaves part of the stem, and fibers and/or shives are pressed out with pressure from 10 bars to 300 bars by a press roll or an extruder. Hemp seeds are harvested before maturity, where harvested hemp is not processed for drying or roasting.
