Cooking appliance (10) comprises: a cooking chamber (12), in which several accessory parts (20) are arranged, on which food is arranged; at least one antenna (24) that is arranged in the cooking chamber, with which a surface acoustic wave- or bulk acoustic wave sensor are read; and an evaluation unit (34) for evaluating the signal of the surface acoustic wave- or bulk acoustic wave sensors, in terms of a load detection. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a holder for the accessory parts of the cooking appliance, where at least one surface acoustic wave- or bulk acoustic wave sensor is mounted on the holder; and (2) the accessory part for the cooking appliance, comprising at least one fixedly mounted surface acoustic wave- or bulk acoustic wave sensor.
