The apparatus has a recognition unit (8) providing information about location of dirt accumulation on a disk (6). A cleaning unit (12) has a cleaning jet (16) that aligns the dirt accumulation using the location information on a locally limited portion. A radiation pattern (17) of the cleaning jet is changed such that the pattern is aligned on different locally limited portions of the disk. The cleaning unit is pivotally arranged under a bonnet (27), and single nozzles are stationary arranged to each other.
