The apparatus has several extruders (1.1,1.2) which are assigned with spinning nozzles (5.1,5.2). The spinning nozzles are associated with lower faces of cooling device. A cooling bath (7) is filled with cooling fluid (8). A thread outlet (10) of cooling bath is associated with withdrawal unit (14), in order to discharge monofilaments (6.1,6.2) within cooling bath. The spinning nozzles are arranged one behind the other above the cooling bath in extraction direction of the monofilaments.
