The mounting aid has a supporting platform (2) made of plywood and stored on a fixed roller (1) or wheels, where a guard rail is fastened to a side of the supporting platform. The guard rail is extended against the roll direction of the mounting aid over the supporting platform around a scaffold section. The platform is mounted on the fixed roller, and a railing pipe (4) with a base plate (6) and an edge plate (7) is connected with the platform. The guard rail is connected with coupling units (5) at an edge pipe (3), where the coupling units are extended up to 3.5 m over an end of a wagon.
