Industrial furnace, preferably dosing- or holding furnace (1) for a material melt, preferably for liquid aluminum alloy, comprises a housing (2) exhibiting at least one bottom region and a wall region, and at least one heating element (4), where a refractory lining is provided, which forms a trough for the material melt on an inner side of the housing. At least one heating element is arranged in the bottom- and/or wall region, and is recorded by the lining. An independent claim is also included for producing the industrial furnace, preferably dosing- or holding furnace, comprising delivering the inner side of the housing by a liner, where within the liner, cavities are produced for receiving at least one heating element.
