The vehicle has an air conditioner (15) with a heat exchanger (13) that is connected in a coolant cycle, where the heat exchanger operates in a cooling mode as a coolant evaporator, in which the coolant evaporates under cooling of an air stream. The air stream is guided in vehicle interior (37). The coolant operates heat exchanger in heating mode as a coolant condenser (5), in which the coolant is condensed by heating the air stream. The coolant cycle has an additional heat exchanger (31) which operates in heating mode as coolant evaporator and is directly or indirectly heated by fossil fuel.
