The device has a rake (100) that is designed after the principle of function separation with respect to the support function and filter function. The elements of a support frame (1) are variable corresponding to the force of the received or occurred water pressure, while the elements are arranged with the filter function in an evenly distributed manner. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for cleaning a rake; and (2) a method for cleaning a rake for using in a water power plant.
