The dual-mass flywheel (1) has two rotary masses (3,4) rotated around a rotational axis (2). Energy storage (9) is placed in a radial inwardly open annular chamber (8). The annular chamber on two sides of a flange (14) is provided opposite to annular chamber forming walls (16,17). The annular chamber is protected against entry of dirt.
