The module (1) has a base guide carrier (2) provided with a latch unit (3) for latching onto a support rail. An electronics housing (5) is attached to the carrier, and comprises a printed circuit board (PCB) and/or a punched grid and/or a bus bar arrangement. Multiple bus conductor contacts (11, 12) are provided for forwarding power and/or data bus to adjacent connection and/or function module along direction of an arrangement. A connection and/or functional unit (7) is directly attached at the carrier or on the electronics housing, and has two separately attachable function modules (20). The function modules are selected from a group consisting of a supply module, a fluxing module, a preheating module and a cooling module. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a connection system comprising a plug connector attached at a side of a connection and/or functional modules.
