The device has comminution rollers (1, 2) including wedge plates (3) demountable and interlocked with each other. Wedge surfaces (4) of the wedge plates exhibit an angle (alpha) ranging from 0 to 180 degree and include profiles (5). The profiles run between an outer periphery (13) and an inner periphery (14) of one wedge surface. One profile has a circular arc-shaped profile outlet (15) in areas of the outer and/or inner peripheries of the wedge surface. The profile comprises a groove (6) corresponding to a right-angled unequal triangle.
