The present application provides a combustion chamber (100) for burning a fuel stream (30) and an air stream (20). The combustor (100) may include multiple fuel nozzles (120), a lean pre-nozzle fuel injection system (270) placed in front of the fuel nozzles (120), and a premix ring (250) interposed between the fuel nozzles (120) and the lean operation -Pre-nozzle fuel injection system (270) is placed to premix the fuel stream (30) and the air stream (20).
