The arrangement i.e. turning device (10), has conveying elements (48-54) designed as round belts, and detour elements (32-46) e.g. rollers, processed by shafts (16, 18, 20, 24) and arranged at a preset distance from the shafts. One of the shafts is connected with a drive e.g. electric motor, over a circulating conveying element, where the drive is arranged outside the device. The shaft is positively connected with the other shaft over combing gear wheels (27, 29). The detour elements and/or shafts are spring biased and arranged with each other in adjustable manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for transportation of planar objects.
