The inverter (101) has several potential terminals (103,105,107) for providing respective potential at a load terminal (109) for the connection of inductive load. The current paths (111,113,115) are formed between the potential terminals and the load terminal. A semiconductor switching element (117) with a MOSFET (119) is connected to load terminal. The bulk terminal of the MOSFET is provided with source terminal (123) for switching of integrated diode (127) such as free-wheeling diode, connected in the current path.
