The method of producing eyeglass lens having a primer layer and a hard coating layer in its sequence on a substrate, comprises: applying a resin composition based on water in which the resin composition is dispersed or dissolved in a solvent based on the water to the substrate and subsequently removing the solvent based on the water under formation of the primer layer; and directly applying a liquid for hard coating comprising a hardening component and the solvents on the primer layer, which is formed, and subsequently performing a hardening process under formation of the hard coating layer. The method of producing eyeglass lens having a primer layer and a hard coating layer in its sequence on a substrate, comprises: applying a resin composition based on water in which the resin composition is dispersed or dissolved in a solvent based on the water to the substrate and subsequently removing the solvent based on the water under formation of the primer layer; directly applying a liquid for hard coating comprising a hardening component and the solvents on the primer layer, which is formed, and subsequently performing a hardening process under formation of the hard coating layer; and determining an exclusion area including solubility parameters of the resin composition based on the water and using the solvent, which has the solubility parameter outside of the exclusion area that is determined for producing the liquid for hard coating. The solvent with the solubility parameter is used as the solvent for producing the liquid for the hard coating, where the solubility parameter is lower than the exclusion area, which is determined on a range of the solubility parameters +- X, where X is 1-2. The hardening component is a photo-hardening component, and the hardening process is performed by an irradiation with light. A polarizing layer is formed on the substrate, and subsequently the primer layer is formed on the polarizing layer.
