The friction clutch (10) has a pressing plate (12) for pressing a clutch disc between back plate and pressing plate, which is moved relative to counter-plate and is covered by a clutch cover (30). An adjustment element (14) adjusts wear-related spacing of pressing plate and counter plate. A ramp ring (24) arranged between pressing plate and counter-ramp (26), rotates relative to counter-ramp using the adjustment element. The adjustment element is moved in the axial direction relative to the pressing plate and in the direction of clutch cover with leaf spring (32). An independent claim is included for method for assembly of friction clutch.
