The device (11) has a sensor ring (18) for sensing a wear-conditional false spacing of a pressure plate to a counter plate. The sensor ring and an adjusting ring (14) are rotatable between a transport position and an initial usage position. A clamping spring (20) comprises a locking element (28) for inhibiting adjustment of the spacing through the adjusting ring in the transport position. The locking element rests frictionally at the adjusting ring in the transport position in direct or indirect manner. The locking element is swivelable around the sensor ring. An independent claim is also included for a clutch aggregate or dual clutch comprising a friction clutch.
