The heat exchanger has one or more tubes, through which the heat transfer medium flows during operation of the heat exchanger. The tubes are partially provided in connection with the graphite or expanded graphite for improving the heat transfer and/or the contact surface of graphite. The expanded graphite is in the form of sheet or plate. The tube is provided with a coating of plastic or aluminum foil, and is made of metal such as aluminum, copper or steel or made of plastic or composite material. An independent claim is included for refrigerator and/or freezer.
