The damper component (10) has a retaining element (12) retaining an energy store unit (24) and radially enclosing the energy store unit outwardly at a side along radial extension of the energy store unit. The retaining element opens at another side of an end section (22), where the latter side is axially spaced from the former side. Contour of the retaining element is aligned on outer contour of an energy store unit, so that the retaining element includes a curved mold in a region of the energy store unit. The retaining element is reinforced at the end section. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a torsional vibration damper comprising a damper component (2) a hydrodynamic torque converter comprising a pump wheel.
