The engine (10) has a positioning device (12) comprising a gear box (16) arranged in an oil space (24) defined by a housing portion of the engine, where the space receives lubricant. An electromotor (14) of the positioning device is arranged outside of the oil space. A rotational torque is transferable between the gear box and electromotor over a passage opening (34) of the housing portion. A housing (30) of the gear box and a housing (28) of electromotor are connected over connection regions (32) under prevention of a contact between the housing of the electromotor and the housing portion.
