The method involves supplying decoded audio data (AS1, AS2) and decoded video data (VS1, VS2). A master function of sinks (S1, S2) is assigned. One of the decoded audio data (AS1) of one of the sinks is provided as a reference audio data of the other sink. A time displacement is determined by the latter sink between the reference audio data and the other decoded audio data. A time displacement of the latter decoded audio data to the reference audio data is corrected by minimizing time displacement by controlling supply of the latter decoded audio data.
