The frame (10) has two longitudinal beam elements (12) spaced from each other in a vehicle transverse direction and running in a vehicle longitudinal direction. The elements are connected with each other by cross beam element (14, 16) that runs in the transverse direction. One of the longitudinal beam elements has two longitudinal beam parts (18, 20) extending parallel to each other. The beam parts have deformation rigidities different from each other with respect to the longitudinal direction and are respectively formed as a sheet metal part or an extruded profile and a cast metal part.
