The jack has an output (11) driven by a motor (14) using a gear box (13). An integrated screwing process control unit (16) performs a screwing process. The housing is designed such that a locking mechanism (37) of an anti-theft device (35) is immersed in a housing interior such that the locking mechanism and an anti-theft device housing (36) are supported at respective inner and outer sides of the housing. The housing includes a housing aperture (32) within a support surface (33), where the aperture is designed for feeding the locking mechanism. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a screw jack with an anti-theft device.
