The system has an elongated cooling module (10) provided in a condensation chamber such that a vaporization chamber (12) is located above a maximum filling level (14) of the condensation chamber. Upper ends of a riser pipe (18) and a down pipe (20) open into the vaporization chamber. Lower ends of the pipes open below a minimum filling level (16). Pressure lines extend from the vaporization chamber to a heat exchanger and the condensation chamber, respectively such that a passive closed cooling circuit is formed by the condensation chamber, the lines, the module and the exchanger.
