The arrangement (1) has metal terminal electrodes (41, 42) arranged on flange portions (12) of a roll core (10). Conductive wires (31, 32) are wound over a wire winding portion of the roll core. A recess is formed on a mounting surface of the flange portion and recessed towards an opposing surface of the flange portion. A wire holding portion extending from a surface mounting portion of the electrode is arranged in the recess to hold the wires. Electrically connected portions (31A, 32A) of the wires and the electrodes are arranged within or adjacent to the recess.
