The assembly (10) has a switching element (16) connecting a subcarrier (12) to a longitudinal beam element (14) of a passenger car, where the switching element is formed as a single-piece molded part. The molded part comprises a screw thread i.e. internal thread, for a screw through which the subcarrier is bolted with the molded part. The molded part is made of a metallic material e.g. aluminum alloy or steel, and/or welded with the carrier element. The molded part comprises a retainer (18) in which the carrier element is received.
