The to-be-bent pipe sections (20') of FRP pipe (20) are locally heated by the heaters (9) only up to deformability. The heater is removed from the to-be-bent pipe sections. The pipe is bent at the locally heated pipe sections by a bending unit (3) while supporting the inner side of pipe section with a mandrel (4). The curved pipe section is cooled and mechanically supported for the curing of the pipe section. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) thermoplastic fiber composite pipe bending machine; and (2) thermoplastic fiber composite pipe manufacturing device.
