The clothing bracket iron base has a heating body (1) which has a lower surface (18) and a peripheral edge (4) with a tip (6) and a bar (8), where a metal plate (10) is provided with a shape which retrofits the lower surface of the heating body. The bar has a receiving element (23), in which a tongue (28) is received to position the plate opposite to the heating body. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a clothing bracket iron base.
