LIMITATION OF ROTOR OVERVIEW OF A TURBOMACHINE TURBINE

The turbine has a rotor with a downstream disk (18) mounted on a turbine shaft, where the rotor carries blades. A braking unit brakes the rotor during the break of shaft, and has an annular edge (50) and an annular part (52) carried by the disk and an exhaust casing (34) of the turbine, respectively. The unit has an upstream conical surface (46) centered on a longitudinal axis of the turbine and a downstream conical surface (48) positioned with respect to surface (46). The surfaces are inclined at an angle (alpha) ranging between 15 and 40 degrees relative to a plane perpendicular to the axis.
