METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING A FATIGUE INDICATOR, PREVENTION AND MAINTENANCE METHODS USING THE INDICATOR, AND DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT SAID METHODS

The method involves identifying a thermal cycle and notifying amplitude of the thermal cycle for estimating or measuring temperature variations that generate mechanical constraints in a vehicle piece, during utilization of the piece. A value of a fatigue indicator of the vehicle piece is calculated based on the number and amplitude of estimated or measured temperature variations of the vehicle piece. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for preventing damage of a vehicle piece subjected to temperature variations and mechanical loading (2) a method for preventive maintenance of a piece subjected to temperature variations during utilization of the piece (3) a device for constructing a fatigue indicator of a piece subjected to temperature variations during utilization.
