The bay (1) has glazed casements (10a, 10b) sliding in a frame constituted of a vertical post (11) and a horizontal post (12). A detachable, rigid or articulated panel (2) comprises an opening device (20) for passage of a domestic animal. The panel is configured to be positioned in a free zone situated at the sliding of one of the casements. Horizontal edges (212) of the panel are configured to engage in the horizontal posts of the frame. Vertical edges (210, 211) of the panel are configured to cooperate with a vertical post (111) of the frame and with a vertical edge (101a) of the casement.
