Detection of impurities in an energetic aliphatic plasticizer containing nitramine and nitrate group, comprises synthesis of the energetic aliphatic plasticizer, and titration with a titration solvent comprising 30-70 wt.% of methanol, 5-15 wt.% of imidazole, 5-10 wt.% of sulfur dioxide and 5-20 wt.% of diethanolamine.
