The device has a connector (10) comprising a body i.e. cast solid body, of a metal connector (11) carrying a fixing unit (12) for fixing the body to a frame (4) of a photovoltaic module (1). A connection unit (13) connects the body to a ground conductor (3). A receiving cavity (14) is associated the fixing unit for receiving a protuberance (16) of the frame, where the cavity is in slit shape. A cavity (15) is associated the connection unit for reception of the ground conductor. The body is made of aluminum.
