The system has a display device indicating correlation with a porthole (3) of an aircraft. A localization device (2) determines space co-ordinates of the aircraft. A data processing device (1) stores a list of places located in a flight plan of the aircraft and geographical co-ordinates of the places. The processing device receives the space co-ordinates of the aircraft, and compares space co-ordinates with the geographical co-ordinates of the places of the flight plan. The processing device manages a display of indications relating to the places on the display device. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a display data related to a flight plan of an aircraft.
