The device has a remote control unit (115) i.e. wireless keyboard, for remotely controlling the function of a loudspeaker (133) of a fixed box (105) e.g. computer. The remote control unit is provided with a microphone (119) and a transmission unit. The transmission unit transmits the signal to the box, where the signal represents the signal emitted by the microphone. The remote control unit includes a switch (117) positioned on a surface opposite to a surface of the remote control unit. An independent claim is also included for a remote communication method.
