Mixture of fatty substance for fabricating soap comprises fatty substances rich in 16-18C hydrocarbon chains (4) and fatty substance rich in 12-14C hydrocarbon chains (3), in that at least 50% of used fatty substance rich in 16-18C hydrocarbon chains are obtained from 6-24C fatty substance, which is hydrogenated, where the obtained product has a melting point of 20-75[deg] C with a polyunsaturated fatty acid content of less than 10% and a content of 16C, 18C and 18.1C of greater than 90%.
