Mechanical part designing method for passenger compartment of vehicle, involves generating digital model by removing ribs of another digital model, where rigidity is reduced during iterations of finite element calculations

The method involves executing control instructions in an electronic calculator to automatically realize iterations of finite element calculations, where each iteration comprises reduction of stiffness of a rib and simulation of vibratory response of a digital model. The obtained digital model is selected during iteration, where the rigidity of specific ribs is reduced and vibratory response meets criteria of defined vibration response. Another digital model is generated by removing the ribs of the former model, where the rigidity is reduced during iterations of finite element calculations. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a mechanical part.
