The device has a box divided into two compartments, where one of the compartments serves as a powder bag and the other compartment serves as a litter bag. A layer of powder (P) is provided at bottom of a rodent cage (C) for absorbing urine of rodents for solidifying the urine in few seconds. The bottom of the cage is protected with a protection grid (G), where the grid separates the powder from the litter. The box is replaced by plastic packages or paper bags of different shapes and materials.
